About

Tomoko Iki is a Tokyo-based photographer whose practice explores the invisible forces that connect memory, body, and nature. Informed by her long-standing experience in dance, she perceives photography as an extension of movement—an act of sensing and reaching toward something beyond the visible. Through multiple exposure, Iki layers fragments of time and perception, capturing phenomena that can only be perceived through the camera.Her images often emerge from natural motifs such as trees, rivers, and flowers, yet they transcend representation, unfolding like abstract paintings or cosmic visions. For Iki, this process of accumulation and layering becomes a way to approach unseen truths embedded in both human and natural memory.

壹岐倫子は東京を拠点に活動する写真家。記憶と身体、自然をつなぐ「目に見えない力」を探求している。　長年のダンス経験を背景に、写真を“動きの延長”として捉え、身体感覚を通じて可視を超えた存在に触れようとする。多重露光という手法を用い、時間や感覚の断片を重ね合わせることで、レンズを通してしか捉えられない自然の現象を描き出している。森や川、花々などの自然物を撮影しながらも、そのイメージはしばしば抽象画や宇宙の光景のように立ち現れ、見る者に多様な印象と解釈を促す。彼女にとってこの「重ねる」行為は、人と自然の記憶に潜む見えない真実へと近づくための試みである。
